Well, this took awhile. I sketched and inked it some months ago, but school and various personal problems kept me from coloring it until a few days ago. It felt great to kick back with some music and my colored pencils for a few hours; this was a very soul-soothing piece of art to make. Anywhey, this is some gift art for the crazy amazing awesome opossum Jenika Watkins/Nevar/Chlorophyta, who I greatly admire as an artist and a person. I've been itching to draw this character ever since I set eyes on him, and after a bit of evil internet drama involving Jenika and caused by yours truly was resolved, I decided I definitely needed to make her some arts. Entry for a contest. Kaiea Malikus © Her creator P to the S if the upper right-hand corner looks different than the rest of the background, that's because it is. I was using a single marker for the stormy cloud effect, and that single marker died before I could complete the drawing. Thus the Photoshop'd corner.

When the thunderstorm's your lullaby. I wanted to challenge myself by doing something completely new, and I wanted to get better at using my Prisma Markers, et, voila! Here we are with a new character, a new drawing, and a happier artist. This is Aisling. She's a black-footed ferret whose coloring and markings I took some liberties with. I was going to make her dreadlocks brighter and three different colors, but thanks to Kyrah's helpful suggestion I kept it more natural and I really like the results. Thanks, Kyrah! I totally want her hoodie.

Gift for my friend Tea of her character whose name I still don't know. A few notes: No, the teeth are not supposed to be accurate. I made them up, simply because I was too lazy to go looking for resources. Also! The scar/marking is supposed to be over the middle of his left eye (It bugs me that I didn't put it there,) which is a few shades lighter orange than his right. You can't really tell, and that bugs me as well. Comments and critiques are most welcome.
